This from Bill Hunter, executive director of the NBA Player's Association about a relief effort they're launching for victims of Hurricane Katrina:
"We want to mobilize immediately and provide as much assistance as possible to the tens of thousands of people who find themselves in life threatening situations as a result of this natural disaster. Our goal is to collectively raise and contribute at least $1 million in aid to the victims.''
$1 million??? Collectively??? From all the NBA players???

I personally think that it is "Great" that the player's from the NBA want to help with the relief fund...here in houston They are preparing the Dome to house at least 25,000 ppl up until December or longer
Sure, it's great they want to help. But only a million dollars, as a group, from all those rich, overpaid athletes? Come on.
I think your right Darron,as a group I think they could come up with alot more money.
