I have no problem with ants as long as they stay outside. Once they intrude my living space, they will face inevitable death! Glad to hear Pam has inspired you to clean up your kitchen. Hopefully, you no longer leave pizza boxes under your bed! Now, about that slug . . .

Darron,some say ants will not cross Comet, I happen to like to get them with RAID ant and roch spray. It keeps killing them for awhile.Then there is Boric Acid, you can get it at the drug store in a powerd form.It kills them too.
